The Wood Behind the Work

Sourced with care. Chosen for character.

We work hand-in-hand with a local mill to selectively source lumber from trees that have lived past their life expectancy and have just begun to decline. Rather than cutting healthy, growing trees, we give these elders a second life.

That timing matters. As a mature tree starts to turn, its wood develops the figure, color shifts, spalting and natural edges that make each board unmistakably one of a kind. What might be firewood becomes a centerpiece for your kitchen or table.

EthicalOnly trees past their prime — never healthy growth.
